Art & Design Saturday Club London Trip 2017
Members of the Truro College Art & Design Saturday Club made their annual pilgrimage to the capital last weekend to make, and see, lots of art.
The students first visited St Martins to do two activities, one centred on drawing buildings and then self-portraits. Following a talk from Lego
Global Head of Environmental Responsibility and Engagement, Cecila Wreckström they then went on to create tracing paper houses which were added to an installation, during this task the students worked with other club members from around the country, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
After lunch they then took a guided tour of the Tate Modern, followed by a visit to see the Master Monoprints at Bankside.
Finally, the students filled up on fast food on their way back to Cornwall, a tired but happy bunch.
